Quick, frugal ways to beat the summer heat!

IMG_9814

The heat is on! Wohooo! How have you been spending your summer so far? Or rather, how have you been beating the summer heat?

Right in our home, we do have some frigid ways to stay comfortable and cool. (Yup, we don’t turn on the AC for 24 hours!) Here are some of our low-cost tricks to chill out:

1. I ask my family to wear the “right” clothes. Yes, I tell my boys to wear loose, light and natural fabrics because they’re breathable!

2. We DIY airconditioning. Have you tried placing packs of ice in front of your desk fan? We do this a lot and it does work! Try it; the fan produces a much cooler breeze!

3. Swim and bathe more often! Of course we can’t always run to the beach (as much as we’d like to), ergo we have an inflatable pool so the kid can immediately swim when the weather gets too hot. We take cold shower at least twice a day, too!

4. In addition to all these, keep hydrated! I always stress the importance of being hydrated and staying hydrated to my boys. Drinking lots of water, and for a yummy twist, drinking ice-cold drinks like BEAR BRAND CHOCO will also do the trick!

A glass of BEAR BRAND gatas na choco na may gatas na may ice is so refreshing!

Beat the summer heat with BEAR BRAND Choco with ice!

Yes moms, BEAR BRAND Choco with ice is a refreshing new way to beat the heat this summer! Have you tried it with your kids? A cold glass will help you feel refreshed! It’s also great to know that this great-tasting drink contains zinc and vitamin C. =)

Another tip, you can also FREEZE BEAR BRAND CHOCO in a freezer-safe bottle and wait for the water to turn into ice. You can take the bottle when you go outdoors and drink the ice-cold BEAR BRAND CHOCO as the ice melts!

BEAR BRAND Choco has jingle and dance. It’s so catchy; it can get you to dance! I’m sure you’re familiar with this jingle: “Choco na gatas na choco na may ice, gatas na choco na gatas na may ice.” Get in the hype of the new dance craze, watch the dance video below! You can upload your kids’ videos on Youtube while they do the BEAR BRAND CHOCO moves too! It’s so fun!

Let’s stay cool even when the temperature gets hot. Happy summer!
