I haven’t blogged for the past days. I first thought that when I’d start to work from home, I’ll have more time to write here but it seems like it’s not happening that way. But in those days that I wasn’t blogging, I was savoring my days however. I was fully occupied with work that I loved doing plus with wedding errands for my dear cousin. And since my kid is going to school today already, most hours of my days were spent just being with him. Beautifully spent, isn’t it?
So last Friday, my day was spent in Tacloban City along with some friends from the media and two great bloggers, Lilian of www.thegomom.com and Peachy of www.thepeachkitchen.com to witness the turnover of a playground donated by Johnson and Johnson. I will tell you more about our experience in Tacloban very soon, meantime, I want to express how happy I am to be part of the team to have witnessed the unveiling of such beautiful advocacy. After the event, we headed to Leyte Parks Resort for lunch, of which we had this photo taken:
Our Sunday was rather special. Last June 8, Alex and I celebrated our 5 years of marriage. The day was restfully spent in our home, with our family’s breakfast and lunch cooked by my dearest. Simple yet so great. For dinner, since we could not decide what cuisine we wanted to have, we just rushed to Vikings. It was so funny lang that our young boy now pays because he has grown tall already! No more free buffets for Kyle!haha
I’ve also discovered a new love: cute food plating, that is. I’ve been doing this more often in the house recently. I can’t wait to post more about it here on the blog. =)
For the wedding planning ,which consumed most of my days, I searched for churches and visited wedding venues here in Manila for my cousin’s wedding. Since she and her boyfriend reside in Singapore, I needed to do the leg work. I was tired but happy though, especially now that we’ve booked Christ the King Parish and Glass Garden for their wedding. =) I hear the wedding bells ringing already!
As I write this post, my little guy is still asleep. I just want to share that I’m having mixed emotions knowing that he will be in school later already. My baby has indeed grown big!huhuhu! He told me before going to bed last night, ‘Mommy, school is going to be tiring, yes?” Praying earnestly that he will always find joy in learning and that he will always be safe in school. Please offer a little prayer for him, too.
Happy Monday, moms! =)
