We were about to go to Eastwood City last Sunday so Kyle could join the “Easter Wonderland Royal Shindig” when our friends invited us for a swimming at Club Manila East in Taytay Rizal. I asked Kyle if he wanted to swim and he gave me a big “yes” so we immediately changed our plan and went to the resort after hearing mass.
Here are some of our pictures at CME. =)

“Mom, I like it here!” My son was all-smile upon seeing the big pool. |

He was the happiest kid in the pool! Meet our little hunk! Ha ha! |

Kyle having a “moment” with his ninong here. I was touched watching them. They both had fun. 🙂 |

Walking around, telling my boy the things we see around and talking about why we’re celebrating Easter. I hope that until he grows old, he will never get tired listening to my stories. |

Club Manila East Taytay, Rizal is a good alternative if your family would like to enjoy the beach waves but can’t find time to go to a real beach- it’s pretty near and the resort has pools with machine-generated waves! It also offers several fun activities such as zip lining, boating and more!
It is fairly priced at 375 per head (and kids that are three feet blow are FREE!) but I must say that the place isn’t that spectacular. The pools are clean yes, but the cottages are not well-maintained and some areas are out of service. I’ll give it a rating of 6.5 over 10 at the most as I also have security issues in the area- cottages don’t have keys, you have to place your valuables at the cashier! They don’t have good restaurants too! They only have fast food stalls around such as Jollibee, Chowking and Shakeys.
But did we enjoy our stay at Club Manila East? Well, yes. We had several minutes for our Easter reflection to thank the Lord, we spent time with the friends we rarely see, and our son’s face lit up the moment he saw the waves. And those matter most. Are we going back there? Maybe yes. =)
