Yup, calling all loyal shoppers who haven’t been to the store again just yet, the supermarket that served you for decades is back! Hooray!
I wasn’t surprised that the reopening of Cherry Foodarama Shaw (now known as Cherry Shaw) was jam-packed! With Cherry Shaw’s exciting teasers and promotions displayed along the streets and with its loyal customers who have missed the store and their memories with it, the store attracted a number of shoppers to join the opening.
This well-loved supermarket reopened its doors last Tuesday, October 13, 2015 with hundreds of shoppers rushing in! Actor Xian Lim and Ms. Philippines Earth 2015 Angelia Gabrena Ong were also there to grace the event!
It’s going to be a better shopping experience at Cherry’s in your next visit, I can say. The store has been renovated and it now looks more refreshed and organized . Now under the management of SM Investments Corporation (SM acquired a majority stake in the chain from the Ong family earlier this year), Cherry Shaw commits to deliver a great shopping experience at everyday affordable prices.

This mural that I passed before I left the store brings much nostalgia— years of memories with Cherry! One of the pioneers in grocery business here in the country, truly, Cherry Shaw knows its customers by heart!
