As a mommy to a toddler, we often get invited to kiddie parties. My little boy and I usually anticipate the party games as a key part of the party fun. Here I’ve rounded up fivebir cool birthday and Christmas party games for kids. Are you looking for party game ideas for your child’s birthday party or for your upcoming Christmas celebration? Read on mommy! 🙂
1. John Says…Follow Me Not!
This party game is a test of children’s reflexes. They are asked to react oppositely to the commands given. For example, when the host says, “John says do not jump”, all the participants have to start jumping! When the host says, “Stop dancing” all the participants should start dancing!

Time: Twenty minutes
2. Treasure Hunt!
The objective of this game is for the kids to discover where the treasure is by following the clues. To play, the host gives the first clue. For example, “Mirror, mirror on the… “. For the last clue, do not forget to write a closing line such as, “Congratulations, the treasure is here” to signal the end of the hunting game. 🙂

Split the kids into teams and have each tem stand in straight line. At the host’s go signal, the first member of the team picks up one item, transfers it to the other bowl and then goes back to the second player to hand the the chopsticks. The team that transfers all the items first wins the game.
