Kindness is the best way to countdown to Christmas. Do you agree?
There is this little activity that I have started just this year with my family, and I am hopeful that it becomes a tradition that we will carry as the years go: Countdown to Christmas with Kindness. It’s very simple yet truly meaningful. It also makes a great way to slow down, reconnect and do good as we approach the most beautiful time of the year– Christmas. As we do this, my family would also like to give you a gentle invitation to join us.
Together, let us be intentional in doing good every day as we countdown to Christmas.
To make it even easier for you, I came up with the Random Acts of Christmas Kindness Advent Calendar that you can use. Let me show you the pages:
Here’s a page that I have brainstormed with my boy. Every day, in his little way, he will have to do at least one good thing for himself, his family, or others. You can make something similar with your kids. Or when they’re big enough, you can just let them write their simple kindness plan.
While this makes a great individual activity, you may also opt to have just a single Acts of Christmas Kindness Calendar in your family. It’s really up to you how you wish to run it. Here are the blank sheets that you will be working with. They come in two Christmas-themed designs.
