I didn’t pencil in any going-out plan for the family last Saturday. I was decided to just stay at home, and cook for my two boys. The idea of taking my preschooler to The Mind Museum popped in when the little boy asked about dinosaurs while reading his book. I thought he would be amazed to see the T-Rex replica at the museum!
Kyle excitedly smiled at Aedi (idea spelled backwards) at the entrance. After robot Aedi’s welcome, a scientist approached us and gave a brief background of the place. Then we were off to explore The Mind Museum, a two-storey building with 5 remarkable galleries.
We explored The Universe Gallery first. It is in this gallery that the beginnings of the universe is explained. Kyle was fascinated to watch the 3D movie about the universe, dinosaurs and people. He also never got tired crossing the dizzying space tunnel and loved his hand-on experiment on the different phases of the moon!
Then we went to The Earth Gallery. This gallery gave us a glimpse of the pre-historic earth. The evolution of man was also presented there. The highlight of the gallery is the T-Rex exhibit, the reason why I took my little boy at the museum.
The next gallery that we explored is the Life and Atom Gallery. Kyle loved the replica of the whale shark!
The last gallery that we visited was The Technology Gallery. This gallery explains the evolving humanity through the tools that we invent and innovate. Kyle was especially amused by this “Solar Bug” exhibit.

Kyle was very inquisitive all throughout the walking tour. He also enjoyed his hands-on-Science experience.
