My Blogging Journey

Before I hand to you your free printable blog planner, allow me to share my story first…

Friends, one of the biggest decisions that I made in this lifetime is deciding to resign from my 8-year teaching job to blog full-time. While I loved the classroom, at that moment, my dream of seeing this blog grow was on fire. I believed I could make it. I knew I can be one of those successful bloggers, too.

Yes, I badly wanted to make my blog work so I can finally work from home and be hands on with my kids. Do you feel the same way, too?

Almost fours years ago today, I can’t be more than grateful I made that leap!  I am now blogging full-time and I believe I am successful in my own way. As of now, I have good number of newsletter subscribers  and a solid number of blog visitors that sometimes even blow me away! And more importantly, I now have more time with my family and this blog is able to support our needs. I have an awesome blog. We have an awesome God!

That big decision has become one of the greatest decisions I have made! But it didn’t come easy. I worked hard. Really hard. When I decided to make this blog work, I doubled my effort and did my best in each and every post I released. I worked for longer hours, but still happier because I did it in the comforts of my home with my little kids. I also laid careful plans and goals for the blog.

And so today, I decided to roll out a freebie similar to what has helped grow my blog– a free printable blogger planner. Without a planner like this one, I wouldn’t have been able to run my blog successfully.  Do you need one, too? I think the planner that I am sharing will help you jump-start your blog if you’re just starting out. And if you’ve been blogging for a long time already but still struggling with your blog schedule, I believe this can help! This free printable blogger planner will help you build a stellar blog editorial calendar.

The Free Printable Blog Planner by Shining Mom

The Lady Blogger Planner has 20 planning pages that will help you organize your blogging to-do’s. Each planning page comes clean and dainty in pink. We all know that running a successful blog takes careful planning. The next pages that I have for you will help you identify your blogging goals, plan out your posts and organize your daily, weekly and monthly to-do’s and more.

Let me give you a sneak peek to some of the pages:

The Post Ideas Page

When running a blog, it’s important to have a weekly planner ahead of you so you’ll never run out of ideas to write. Look at the clean page below for your weekly blog editorial calendar. It’s pretty, isn’t it?

The Blog Cover Pages

I have also created 3 blog covers for you to choose from. Each cover comes with a different personality: Minimalist, Dainty and Floral. Pick the cover planner you wish to use for your free printable blog planner. By the way, I added some design elements purchased at Creative Market in creating the covers. Here’s a preview to one of the three covers. Well, how do you like it?

The Blog Goal-Setting Pages

Moving on, I have also included pages for your goal-setting. The page shown below will help you give a clear direction to your blog. It will help you create your mission statement (if you don’t have one yet) and identify your branding and target audience.

And of course, I’ve added “brain dump” pages where you can freely set your dreams for your blog, like this blog vision board! How would you like your blog to run? How wildly successful you wish it will become? Concretize your vision for your blog and make that step everyday towards your dream.

Products to Launch Page

Do you wish to earn more through your blog? Identify where you’re good at and start creating a product that will help people. I have realized that magic of selling a product through blogs when I launched The Ultimate Mom Planner. With a strong willpower to help my fellow mommas organize a blissful and abundant home, I was able to create a stellar product that has become so popular! If you’re a momma just like me, you might want to have yourself a copy of the planner, too. Additionally, you can also create products to sell in your own blog. I have also included pages that will help you do that!
