Are you looking for a free printable family budget plan to manage your household finances? I hear you, mom! Today on the blog, I created budgeting worksheets that you can use. I can’t hide my excitement to hand you this nifty set of printable pages with you. They’re designed to help you organize your family’s finances. They will come in handy in allocating your income!
Before we get going, I have a little sharing to make. I don’t know if you can relate to me, but before I got married, I didn’t bother budgeting my finances. After finishing college and landing a decent job, I felt so powerful! Powerful because I was already earning, I could finally buy what I wanted as I got to spend my own money!
At that time, money is something to earn and spend. My spending habits would come in a monthly cycle– I spend more right after receiving my paycheck, and then I stretch the remaining money until the next paycheck. I didn’t mind living paycheck to paycheck. Money replenishes every salary day, anyway. I didn’t even have funds for emergencies! But towards the end of every month, I always wondered where my money went. Especially when my money left could barely reach the next paycheck!
And then I got married.
Ahhh, how motherhood can change one! I realized I had to change my spending habits. I started to plan my spending carefully. I learned to track down my “spending leaks.” Then, I began to look for more ways to earn so as not just to not just rely on my fixed income from work.
My budgeting worksheets immensely helped me organize my finances!
