Kyle has just turned seven! How. Time. Flies. I can’t help but marvel how fast he has grown. He’s a certified big kid already! And admittedly, I feel anxious, nervous and excited all at the same time with this new phase.
So timely, we received an invitation to attend Safeguard’s Adventure Camp at the Exploreum in Mall of Asia few days ago. The camp was perfect with the transition that he’s now into: Discovering the world in his own terms and embarking on several more adventures. I can’t be happier that Kyle joined the camp because it made him recognize the things he can already do by himself, which gave him the confidence of a ‘big kid’.
At the camp, Kyle gamely joined all the challenges. The first task was for the kids to go to the place directed in the cue cards and he followed the directions perfectly, like how he follows my instructions. They were asked to ties shoelaces and he did it swiftly, like how he would tie his shoe laces to school. They were asked to dress standees and the boy fondly did so, like how he happily wears his own clothes to school independently. He did all these, and he could do a whole lot more already! I am one proud Mama!
Truly, day by day, my boy is showing more and more independence. From taking a bath on his own to being able to order and pay for his own food in restaurants and even setting our dining table at home, he’s doing a good job. Now that he’s bigger, he also gets to play with his friends in the neigborhood more often. It is really during this age that he explores the outside world, which means being exposed to germs, which are everywhere!
Getting his hands dirty, literally, is one way of developing and growing. It scares me a bit because I know he will be exposed to germs! I am also recognizing the fact that by this time, my big kid should be weaning out of baby soaps already because he needs protection that is mighty against germs but still gentle to his young skin, like Safeguard Pure White Body Wash.
Safeguard Pure White Body Wash Review
Along with the fun experiences we had at Safeguard’s Adventure Camp, we also took home a bottle of Safeguard Body Wash. They boy was extremely excited to try Safeguard Pure White Body Wash because as he puts it, “It’s the bath wash for big kids” like him. Safeguard, being a brand trusted by moms for family germ protection with over 50 years of heritage, I happily had him try the product.
Protection begins in the shower. What i really like about Safeguard Pure White Body Wash is that it is said to effectively remove 99.9% of germs. I am also loving that it is gentle on my kid’s skin. Its formula is effective yet gentle – dermatologically tested and is is proven to be as gentle as water. When Kyle used it, it has rich, cleansing lather that is non-sticky and easy to rinse. We liked its fresh and clean scent, too!
For big kids like my Kyle, Safeguard Pure White Body Wash makes a good protection from disease-causing germs, suited for his growing needs. My boy is ready to conquer the world and take on several big firsts with Safeguard!
