After 10 days of not being with his daddy, my little boy was unutterably surprised and joyous to see him again. Alex was overseas for a couple of days for work-related trips, and not having him around made our Kyle terribly miss him.
In one of the nights that Alex was away, Kyle was unusually quiet. Then I saw his tears dripping. “Why?” I asked. He started crying aloud. “I’m missing daddy!!”
Now that Kyle is 4, I have observed that he’s getting better and better in expressing how he feels, and in understanding the situations around him, too. When I explained that his dad had to go abroad again because it’s part of his job, he just said, “Okay mommy I understand.” (still crying, though)haha. So cute and sweet!
Meanwhile, Alex had a side trip to the “Window of the World”, a theme park near Shenzhen’s bay. The pictures are just so beautiful thus I’ve decided to include them on this post. The park features miniature versions of over 130 famous landmarks from the 5 continents. Let’s name them?
From China, Alex also went to Taiwan for another company visit. He also went to see one of the tallest buildings in the world: Taipei 101.
This is the view from the top of the building:
Now that daddy is back, I am back to blogging, too. You must have noticed that I had no new post for more than a week aside from the sponsored post which was previously written before he left. I just couldn’t afford to squeeze in my bliss just when my boy was missing his dad. I had to be always there for him. I missed blogging. And just like Kyle, I also missed Alex.
One last photo before I end this post. Still, this is the most beautiful sight for me. =)
Have a blessed day ahead, mommies! =)
