A month ago, I’ve featured Bio Oil on the blog. It’s a new brand that arrived in the Philippines (but has been sold worldwide for many years already). The product was launched here in the country last September with a promise to help improve the appearance of stretch marks, uneven skin tone, ageing and even dehydrated skin. And the brand ambassador? It’s the beautiful Ms. Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz. After trying the product for barely a month already, you might already want to ask me this: “Does Bio Oil really work?”
I previously blogged how anxious I was with my post-pregnancy stretch marks and I am happy to share that with just a few weeks of using Bio Oil, I am seeing slight changes on these marks already. They lightened a bit, especially the marks I have on my thighs. I am positive that after a few more months, I will see significant results. (Yaay!) I wish I could show you up-close pictures of the marks but then again the pictures won’t clearly show the results just yet. I’ll update you with my before-and- after photos on Instagram in the coming weeks, (watch out for it!). But for now, I can already announce that Bio Oil really works because yes, it did lighten my stretch marks!
I think it’s also worth mentioning that right after our Boracay trip, my skin looked dull and dehydrated. I’ve applied Bio Oil and it did a great job in rehydrating my skin! Bio Oil is now becoming my immediate remedy to any skin problems (haha!). =) I’m also loving the shiny look it leaves without feeling too oily every time I use it.

My skin got dehydrated in this getaway. Good thing Bio Oil instantly rehydrated my skin! |
I am applying Bio Oil religiously on the stretch marks I have on my thighs and belly every morning before getting dressed for work and before going to bed at night. I didn’t have any problem with it getting on my office uniform so far. Plus, I am also enjoying its light scent. =)
So there, I am officially and currently loving this “little skin secret” they talk about. Have you tried Bio Oil, too? How do you use yours?
