I ‘ve been noticing our little boy’s love for music. When he sees singers performing on TV, he would run to get our remote control and piano it; after a few minutes, he would strum it like a guitar and then converts it into a microphone! While he does all these, he bangs his head and has this facial expression of a musician. He is so pro! Very cool, I so thought.
Yesterday, when I saw him use the very same remote control to beat our subwoofer to use as his drum, my heart rate rose, that’s dad’s speaker Kyle Alexandeer!!! But of course I couldn’t blame him, he had no drums to play with. Poor boy!
We only do toy shopping twice a month and I wasn’t at all surprised what he wanted me to buy this time.
“What new toy do you want mom and dad to buy anak?” I asked. “Drums, I a want drums mom!” He said.
I grabbed that opportunity to buy him his own drum set. Dear, your speaker is saved! He already has a small guitar and a piano but had dismantled and broken them into pieces so I’ll just buy them next.
My God, when Kyle woke up this morning and saw his drum set, his smile reached his ears (I am not exaggerating)! Kyle started to slam the drums. On beat. Well, most of the time! 😉
It’s so noisy in the house now but we are all happy watching our little drummer boy!
