my family traveled to Isabela. Yay! 🙂
I first thought Alex couldn’t find time to take us in Isabela since he was busy with his work and the place is far from Manila (it’s a 10-hour travel!) but thank goodness, he did take us there! He knew how I very much wanted to visit my parents, and his parents (yes, we are both Isabelinos!). Although we only stayed there for a few days (we spent our Christmas here in Manila), I felt rested. It was refreshing to wake up with the view of our small fishpond, the rice fields, and the Sierra Madre mountains. And of course, it was truly rejuvenating to be with our families! Kyle and I stayed most of the time at my parents’ home (I mean our home). 😉
And, oh! We also visited this century- old church located in Tumauini, Isabela. It’s just 15 minutes away from our home. You’ll love to see this church. The brick designs are so intricate and its famed cylindrical bell tower is truly one of a kind. I shall be telling you more about this church… and all the other beautiful places to see in Isabela! 🙂
I know your holidays are just as sweet. It’s mid-January but can’t you still get over the holiday feeling just like me? Hang on to that feeling. Let’s stay refreshed and rejuvenated for the entire year! 🙂
