These days, I am helping my cousin prepare for her wedding. Since she and her fiancé work in Singapore, I do most of the leg work here in Manila. Searching for a wedding church was part of my task two weeks ago. I’ve visited and contacted some recommended churches for weddings that would be accessible to their chosen venue, The Glass Garden. I thought of sharing the list of churches for weddings that I’ve scouted on the blog today just in case someone needs it.
SANCTUARIO DE SAN JOSE
Adress: Greenhills, Mandaluyong
We considered booking this church for the wedding because of its welcoming ambiance and solemnity (the church is located in an exclusive subdivision in Greenhills). We also like the garden by the entrance and its lovely interiors a mix of gold and wooden accents.
Rental fee: PhP30,000 (inclusive of air conditioning, flower arrangement, carpet, soloist, organist, red carpet)

BLESSED JOHN PAUL II PARISH (Formerly Holy Family Chapel)
Address: Orchard Road, Eastwood City, Brgy. Bagumbayan, Quezon City, Philippines 1110
This church in Eastwood City is now one of the new sought-after wedding churches. The size is just right for intimate weddings, and it is conveniently located. We were not able to book this church, however, because my cousin’s wedding is scheduled in March and the church does not accept wedding bookings for that month since it is nearing the Lenten season.
Rental Fee: Php 20,000 (inclusive of air conditioning, lector, soloist and organist, flowers and red carpet)

MARY THE QUEEN PARISH
Adress: EDSA cor. Ortigas Ave., Quezon City
We also considered the Mary the Queen Shrine in Edsa for the wedding since it is also accessible to the venue but we were told that they do not accept bookings for the 2015 wedding yet.

CHRIST THE KING PARISH
Address: Green Meadows, Mandaluyong
One of the most picturesque wedding churches in my eyes would be the CTK parish. The interior is elegant , and since there are clear glass walls all over, the strike of the natural light would make photos look great for the wedding. My husband and I have attended a wedding ceremony here already and we loved it, hence, this is the church that I have highly recommended to my cousin, of which she and her fiancé approved. The church also has a wide parking space and driveway to the main door!
Rental Fee: PhP25,000 (inclusive of use of air conditioning, flower arrangement, choir)

I am so happy that I was able to book Chris the King Parish on their preferred date… our excitement is mounting already! But wait! There are several requirements to accomplish just yet. Up next: The marriage clearance requirements for couples residing abroad! Watch out for it!
