It’s Mother’s Day! It’s always during this day that I get so much reminded of how lucky, favored, and blessed I am for being entrusted with one big gift to care for and love- my child Kyle. I am saying the next lines aloud: God trusts me so much! He knows I am capable to love beyond myself. I am so honored and thankful to be a mom!
Do we all feel the same, moms? We should! God saw that we have the fortitude to love and guide hence the gift of motherhood. And this day, Mother’s Day, we are honored!
Reflecting, isn’t it that it is so overwhelming to have been entrusted with such an honor so huge? I sometimes feel unworthy though. But it’s just amazing how God holds my hands whenever I’m in doubt and tired. God blesses my hands, your hands, the hands of every mom. He gives us the wisdom and the heart to hone and nourish children. And the happy part? We are all rewarded as we do this!
No one in this whole world can make me laugh as wholeheartedly, pray as passionately, understand as deeply, love as unconditionally, and work as responsibly, as my child. And that makes me a happy, fulfilled mom!
Today, let’s offer this short prayer of thanks:
