The Free 2017 Budget Binder by Shining Mom
This binder has several tweaks from our 2016 edition and there are even new worksheets included. Moreover, the design is absolutely different from the past releases– it’s brighter, bolder and prettier, I think!
I intentionally created this binder to be in fun colors because I personally want to list down money matters on pretty pages. Why? Let’s admit it, budgeting is not the easiest thing to do, hence we need a pretty and fun planner!
So what then are the budgeting essentials that I’ve included in this free printable 2017 family budget binder?
- Fun Cover
- Financial Goals Sheets
- Expense Tracker
- Savings Log
- Monthly Check-in Sheets
- Monthly Budget Log
- Savings and Investments Log & More!
Let’s take a quick tour so you can see the layout closely! Whatever state your financial health maybe in, this free 2017 budget binder will help you get moving towards financial wellness. Here you go!
The Fun Budget Binder Cover
Let’s start our binder tour with the cover. It’s fun and engaging to set you to the right budgeting mood!
Financial Goals
Planning to go debt-free next year? Wanting to grow your savings? Thinking of investing, finally? You can list or sketch your financial goals using these next two pages of your free printable 2017 budget binder.
Yep, time to roll up your sleeves, set your financial goals and map out your steps to reach those targets! There’s nothing like knowing where you want to go before starting the journey so do not skip using this page!
Expense Tracker
This is the page that I should be using religiously. My husband would often remind me to write my expenses daily, and admittedly, it’s not that easiest thing to do but it’s something we should do. Knowing where your money is going will tell you how much you can potentially and actually SAVE and INVEST.
Savings Log
This, of course, is my favorite part of the free 2017 budget binder! This pretty sheet gives me a sense of accomplishment whenever I log something in it, no matter how little the amount is. Seriously, if we take budgeting more seriously (play of words there!), we’ll find ourselves logging more in this sheet.
Financial Plans
Similar to the Financial Goals page, here’s another worksheet that will really concertize for financial dreams so you can finally work harder to achieve them. The layout is definitely something to love as it is so practical and functional!
Monthly Cash Flow
It’s definitely a good idea to track your monthly cash flow. How much do you earn monthly? How much do you spend?
Monthly Check-Ins
How did you fair for the month? This is the page that my husband like filling out together. Since we are no professional financial advisors, all we can do is share the system that works for us. We like this next page that we’re sharing with you. We actually adapted the layout from the ones we found on the web and again, tweaked it a bit to match our needs.
Monthly Budget
Setting a fixed amount for particular needs and wants really works wonders for us! Setting an amount for food, gas, house rental etc. is really helping us budget what we have.So when I am just about to splurge on something I’d wish to have that not really necessary (like the natural sugar Antigona bag I’ve been wanting to get), I’d ask , “What’s the allotted budget for that again?” That way, I never go beyond the amount we can afford! I simply need to work harder so I can afford it!
So there. Our humble 2017 family budget binder which can be yours, too, for free! If you think this planner will also work in keeping your finances stay organized, then go ahead, print it off! Your copy is >HERE<! I hope you can use it, really! =)
