If you would ask me of my childhood memories on the Christmas season, caroling is definitely one of them. I remember visiting my aunties and uncles nightly together with my other cousins to sing Christmas songs in our joyful voices. Karir yun ha, nagpapraktis din kami. We would always go home with a loot bag of candies. Tuwang-tuwa naman ang mga matatanda sa amin.
“Karoling,” for us pinoys is a simple way to make the Christmas celebration more warm and meaningful. This year, Tang Philippines has a heartwarming campaign that seeks to spread Christmas cheer all over the country, the “Tang Galing sa Karoling” In this campiagn, Tang has a special mmicrosite and free mobile app that allows parents like you to shareyour children’s talents to the rest of the world by singing a Christmas karol.
Video recordings of your children’s performances of popular Christmas songs, karaoke-style can also be recorded with other cool features in the microsite. Kids can also get creative with their submitted “karol” by putting a different spin on the song, or performing their own unique rendition.
Not only that, the recorded videos can also be used as greetings to loved ones since at the end of each video recording, there is air time for Christmas greeting or message that can be sent and shared.
