Shining Mom is Now on WordPress!

It’s done, mommies, it’s done! So how do you find the new interface of Shining Mom? I’m beaming with joy to announce that the blog is now in self-hosted WordPress, built in Genesis framework! And it is now mobile responsive, too! Yaay!

I earnestly prayed for this. And when God gave me the go signal that NOW is the perfect time, I immediately jumped in! Migrating this blog from Blogger to WordPress was a dream ever since I’ve read all the benefits of having a self-hosted blog (but was a little apprehensive with the costing and all the technicalities…heeheee). So now that it’s officially done, I am beyond thrilled to “unveil” the new look!

I’ve relied on three experts in the field for the process. Patricia of Fancy Girl Studio, for the theme conversion (thank you Pat, I was pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful homepage), Jenn Tan of The Techie Mom and Marge for handling the hosting and migration. I’m lucky to have virtually met these wonderful mommies!

I’d like to especially thank Ms. Jenn for graciously assisting me. The migration process wouldn’t have been this blissful if not because of her. I now have a better understanding on how it is done because she answered all my queries (para kaming may Blogging Migration 101. lol!). Jenn, if you happen to read this, thank you! It was super nice working with you!

And to all the Shining Mom readers, salamat sa suporta. You’re my inspiration each time I dream and pray to make this blog better. May we grow and emerge as better moms as we journey  together. I love you. Hugs!
