The Safety Zone Event

Last week,  an informative event for moms and dads was organized: The Safety Zone Event. It was the first of its kind as it brought together trusted experts to talk about ways to help keep children safe. I’m happy to know that parents flocked to Babyland Shaw Blvd to participate.

The event was organized by Halo SleepSack Philippines, together with Babyland Baby Stores. It was also a charity event, as 100% of the ticket sales were donated to Children’s Hour. Thanks to Ms. Ives Lim-Esteban for updating me with what happened in the event. If ony I had the time, I would have loved to join!

The get-together of parents started with the insightful talk of Ms. Krie Reyes of Messy Baby kicked, sharing her knowledge of healthy living and environmental safety. Messy Baby is social enterprise that produces a line of all-natural household cleaners that are effective just as they are safe for you and the environment.

After which, Ms. Phoebe Te of Stemcord talked about how we could protect our children through cord blood banking. Nobody went home empty-handed, thanks to the healthy snacks provided by Mommy Treats, and loot bags and prizes sponsored by the event partners.
