Let me just say this: I am super excited to announce that Nestlé Philippines has launched its Wellness app, a mobile initiative designed to help users of Apple devices to readily access Nutrition, Health and Wellness information that can be applied to daily life!
Last Wednesday (September 26) I was invited together with other bloggers to witness the Wellness app launch at the Julius Maggi Kitchen in Rockwell. Since we could bring guests with us, I invited my mom and my little niece Yana. The organizers of the event were very warm and friendly and we truly had a great time! J
We were able to experience first hand the Wellness app for iOS. The app features a body mass index (BMI) calculator, which determines whether one‘s weight is ideal for his height. The app can be personalized and offers hundreds of wellness tips that can be accessed in an interactive manner. Here are some screencaps of the the Wellness App:
Currently, the app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, requiring iOS 5.0 or later versions. Android versions of the app will be available soon.
Here’s how to download the free Nestlé Wellness App:
1. Access the App Store from your Apple device
2. Search for “Nestle Wellness”
3. Click Install and download the app for free.
Primarily, the Nestlé Wellness app is part of Nestlé Philippines’ continuing advocacy to promote good nutrition, health and wellness in order to help address the growing global and local incidence of lifestyle-related illnesses. So great isn’t it?
After the new app has been introduced, Chef Tess Sutilo demonstrated some yummy and healthy recipes that we can easily try at home. I will be sharing her recipes next week! 🙂 Truly, Nestlé makes the road to wellness easier for all of us! 🙂
