Exposing Little Kyle to Basketball

How did we spend our Saturday evenings lately? Watching Alex’s basketball tournament, the United Science High School Alumni League. I never really liked basketball as a kid though, it was only when I got married that I learned to enjoy the sport. How could I not like it? Our TV is always glued to basketball shows and Alex always plays. And since I like my family bonded, basketball has become, well, The family’s sport.

We’re now exposing Kyle to basketball. He often joins me in the court cheering  for his dad. It looks like this boy is starting to show love for this sport. He enjoys dribbling and running around!

Basketball court has become the boy’s playground.

A future basketball superstar? Well, that is what his dream is, he told me.

I love how Kyle’s mood changes every time we are at the court. He looks happier and more positive! He becomes more active, too! He often emulates his dad during the warm-up and plays with his dad’s teammates during practices, so cute!

This photo is blurry but I am loving it nonetheless. That’s Kyle and his dad warming up before the game.

The player wearing jersey #16 is Alvin “The Captain” Patrimonio, playing for Manila Science High versus my husband’s team (Alex is wearing jersey #7), Regional Science High. (Secret lang ha, minsan kahit nasisiko ni Alvin si Alex masaya sya kasi naman favorite player niya si Alvin nung kabataan nya!haha)

To end this post, let me caption this photo.
“I am going to be a good basketball player when I grow up!”
