Some weeks ago, I attended Russell Hobbs’ trade launch at Makati Shangri-la. It was a night of singing, dancing and gustatory delights as Russell Hobbs, UK’s leading brand of elegantly designed and high quality kitchen appliance, was formally announced available in the country.
I’m thrilled for the arrival of this brand. I am one happy homemaker to know that this top-notch brand (which used to be only available to purchase abroad), can now be easily bought in the country.
To give you a little background of Russell Hobbs, it is the brand that was the first in the world to introduce the coffee pot with an automatic keep warm feature, and the first to create an automatic electric kettle that revolutionized the kettle market. This was founded in Great Britain in 1952 by Bill Russell and Peter Hobbs, Russell Hobbs.
The formal event themed “Kitchen Dreams, A Night of Music” delighted the guests with the performance of the violinist Jake Juleous Gacang and a musical.
The musical showed how the Kettle Sisters (who became the Chef Angels as the story progressed), helped Bianca achieve her dreams to be a top chef and to own a café by introducing her perfect match that would make he dreams come true– the elegantly designed, high quality kitchen appliances that are within her means: Russell Hobbs.
As the musical came to a close, Chef JP Anglo, Clarence Cu, Sally Sidani, and Patrick Leow presented Russell Hobbs collections, the Kitchen, Desire, and Allure, and announced their availability in the country.
