Just last week, I blogged about our country home. If you’ve read the post, then you already know how dear it is to me. It was in our country home where I spent almost every single day of my childhood… and I had several heartwarming memories in it! Not only that, it is still the place where my parents reside. And now that I have a family and an abode of my own here in Manila, having these two distant homes that are both dear to me remain connected is important. Constant communication with my parents while taking care of my own family, for me, is precious. Because of our internet connection, my parents’ country home in Isabela seems to be just near ours. So If you’d ask me of the things I love about our home (there are many by the way!), one of the things that would certainly be on top of my mind that I would surely tell you about would be our home internet. Aside from the joy it brings for allowing us to communicate with our relatives more often (as if they’re just near us), I love our home internet because it is makes several things possible within our own home. Let me list a few.
Being a mom who blogs, having a fast internet connection is important to me. We used to have the not-so-reliable broadband; and since it was slow, it would take me long to publish a post. It was too time-consuming! Instead of being able to blog fast so I could spend more play time with my child, I would wait for several more minutes for my post to be uploaded. Now I get to enjoy my bliss (blogging, that is) without the hassle of waiting due to poor internet connection. I am now loving blogging more than ever!
Our internet connection also brings much convenience because it provides me easy access to information. When I need to check on some recipes or websites/blogs on parenting, news or entertainment, I can easily access them. I also love the fact that I am able to manage bank accounts and finances online! It makes my mommy/homemaker life a whole lot easier!

Our fast internet connection also provides better entertainment at home. We can easily download movies to watch together, or download educational apps for my Kyle’s Ipad (but he’s only allowed to play for a maximum of an hour a day, my husband brings the gadget to his office so that the kid engages in active play during the day). And as I’ve previously mentioned here, whenever my husband travels as part of his job, we remain connected through video chats.
