Kyle’s yaya for more than three years had to go. It’s heartbreaking but Alex and I are happy because she had to leave us to stay with her family in their brand new home. Manang’s family is awarded with a Gawad Kalinga home; so when she told us her plans to work in the farm with her husband in the province and to stop working for us, she had our blessings. We know that she has to be with them to celebrate and spend memories under the roof which they can finally call their own.
Manang served us well. She always made sure to deliver a home that is comfortable and clean while giving her very best in looking after the boy. She was no stranger to us, we considered her as part of the family– and she knows that. I will always remember how she lovingly attended the boy’s needs and how she cried and laughed with us. She witnessed how my young family went through learning times, blossomed, until fully ready to soar.
Manang has loved my child and my familyso much, I can never thank her enough. Our family needs and misses her but her family needs her, too, more than we do. It’s her time to shine in her own home now.
I’m sending my best wishes from my home to hers. Help me pray that her family be showered with more blessings.
